CHEF BRUNO D'ANGELIS 1 MICHELIN STAR AVIGNON

"A wonderful mix of rigour, passion and improvisation".

A native of the region, Bruno d'Angélis was trained by great French chefs. He came back to Avignon in April 2000, to one of hotel jewels of the Provence, Hôtel d'Europe.

Angélis creates contemporary cuisine full of the colours and flavours of the region.

The skilful blend of the best products, herbs and oils has driven "La Vieille Fontaine" restaurant to the ranks of the best restaurants of our region. Awarded by a star in the Michelin Guide.

The encounters and travels across all the continents that the chef has been invited to make his cuisine open to the world, for the great culinary pleasure of guests.

Our guests greatly appreciate our well-known bar. A pleasant ambiance with music on some evenings.

In addition to the handsome menu of whisky, champagne, and other quality drinks, this place is famous for its home-smoked salmon, foie gras and assortment of cold meats that are served throughout the day, until late in the evening. A meeting place for the Avignon smart set.
